HaulMio is a company registered in Hong Kong SAR, with its registered address at Hong Kong SAR ("HaulMio", "we", "us", "our").

02Accepting these Terms
By using the HaulMio website, creating an account, submitting a request, or approving a quote, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract. If you use the service for a business, you confirm that you have authority to bind that business.
03What HaulMio does
HaulMio is a personal shopping and parcel-handling service. We help you:
- source and purchase products from sellers, mostly in China;
- receive, inspect, check, consolidate, and pack parcels;
- arrange international shipping through third-party carriers; and
- keep you updated through your request page and email.
HaulMio is not the seller, manufacturer, carrier, customs broker, or insurer of the products you ask us to buy. We act as your purchasing and handling agent. Product warranties, seller policies, carrier terms, and customs rules apply in addition to these Terms.
04Accounts
You are responsible for the information in your account and for keeping your login secure. Tell us promptly if you believe someone else has accessed your account.
We may suspend or close an account if we reasonably believe it is being used for fraud, prohibited items, abuse, or a breach of these Terms.
05Requests and quotes
Submitting a request does not create an order. We review the request and decide whether we can help.
A quote is itemized and shows the price, currency, what is included, and the date it expires. Unless we say otherwise, a quote is an estimate until the final item, weight, and destination are confirmed.
You approve a quote before we charge you. No payment is due before that approval. If availability, weight, seller costs, shipping costs, taxes, or customs rules change before you approve the quote, we will tell you and may issue a revised quote.
06Payment
You pay the amount shown on the approved quote. No payment is due before you approve the quote. Payment is processed by PayPal or another provider we identify at checkout. The payment page shows the charge currency and any conversion.
You authorize us and our payment provider to charge the approved amount. You are responsible for payment-provider fees, currency-conversion differences, and chargebacks that are not caused by our error.
Tips are optional and are not part of the quote.
07Buying on your behalf
You authorize HaulMio to purchase items from sellers on your behalf as part of the service. We will not charge you for an item before you approve the quote. We are not the seller and do not own the product after you approve the quote, except as needed to handle, check, pack, and ship it.
After you approve the quote, title and risk pass according to the seller's and carrier's terms and applicable law. We will help with a seller or carrier claim where we reasonably can, but we cannot guarantee a seller's stock, description, warranty, or return policy.
08Shipping, customs, and taxes
We arrange international shipping with a carrier we select or that you select from the options shown. Carrier terms, weight rules, restricted-item rules, and delivery estimates apply.
United States and Canada
Shipping prices for US and Canada destinations include import duties, taxes and customs clearance under the forwarder's DDP (delivered duty paid) service. We do not add a separate duties line, and no separate import tax is collected from you on delivery. Customs may still adjust, hold, or re-assess a parcel with the forwarder. The forwarder contract and any exclusions control the scope of the DDP service.
EU and UK
For EU and UK destinations, estimated VAT, IOSS, duties, and handling fees are added to your quote or checkout total and paid with your order. They are separate from the shipping price and are not included in the shipping charge. Customs may still adjust the final assessment.
Other destinations
For other destinations, estimated VAT, duties, and handling fees may be shown before payment. Unless the quote says DDP, the estimate is not a guarantee. You are responsible for additional taxes, duties, carrier fees, or customs charges assessed on delivery. For DAP destinations, duties and taxes are collected on delivery.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- a complete, accurate delivery address, phone number, and email;
- accurate product descriptions, values, and customs information;
- ensuring the item is legal to import into the destination; and
- any customs, tax, or regulatory obligation that applies to you.
We do not act as importer of record unless we expressly agree in writing.
09Delivery and risk
Delivery times are estimates from the carrier, not guarantees. A parcel may be delayed by customs, weather, carrier operations, strikes, or events outside our control.
Risk passes according to the carrier's terms and applicable law. We will help you open a carrier claim where the evidence supports it. Keep the packaging, photos, and any damaged item until the claim is resolved.
10Checks and quality control
We can confirm that an item arrived, the quantity, the colour, size, or style as ordered, visible defects, measurements you request, and photos from the angles you choose.
We do not authenticate brands, verify origin, lab-test materials, test safety or compliance, open sealed items unless agreed in advance, or guarantee what a seller claims.
Checks are a visual and practical inspection, not a manufacturer's warranty or a certificate of authenticity.
11Cancellations and refunds
Cancellations, refunds, damaged items, lost parcels, and items that are different from the description are governed by our Refunds & Cancellations policy. Nothing in these Terms limits a statutory consumer right that cannot be limited by agreement.
12Prohibited and restricted items
You may not use HaulMio to buy, handle, or ship items that are prohibited by the destination, the seller, the carrier, or applicable law. Our Shipping & Prohibited Items policy lists common restrictions; the carrier and customs authority make the final decision.
If we discover a prohibited item, we may cancel the request, return the item, dispose of it where lawful, or take another reasonable step. You are responsible for costs we reasonably incur.
13Your responsibilities
You agree to:
- use the service lawfully and only for items you are entitled to buy;
- provide accurate information and respond to our questions;
- pay approved quotes and any charges described in these Terms;
- comply with customs, tax, and import rules; and
- not misuse the site, interfere with its security, or scrape it without permission.
14Intellectual property
The HaulMio name, logo, site design, text, and software are owned by us or our licensors. You may use the site for your own requests and orders. You may not copy, resell, or redistribute the site or its content without written permission.
15Third-party services
The service depends on third parties, including PayPal, Google sign-in, sellers, warehouses, and carriers. Their terms and privacy policies apply to their part of the service. We are not responsible for a third party's acts or omissions except where the law says otherwise.
16Disclaimers
To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee that every item can be sourced, that a seller will ship, that a carrier will deliver on time, or that customs will release a parcel.
Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or right that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer law.
17Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, HaulMio is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses, or for lost profits, lost opportunity, or damage caused by a seller, carrier, customs authority, or event outside our reasonable control.
Our total liability for a claim connected to a request is limited to the amount you paid HaulMio for that request. This limit does not apply to fraud, wilful misconduct, death, personal injury, or a right that cannot be limited by law.
18Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify HaulMio against claims, losses, and costs arising from your breach of these Terms, your prohibited or restricted items, inaccurate customs information, or your misuse of the service.
19Termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for a breach, fraud, prohibited items, or a legal requirement. Obligations that by nature survive termination — including payment, customs, liability, and dispute terms — continue to apply.
20Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong SAR. The courts of Hong Kong SAR have jurisdiction, except where consumer law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
Before starting formal proceedings, please contact hello@haulmio.com and give us a reasonable chance to resolve the issue.
21Changes
We may update these Terms. If a change is material, we will post it on this page and, where appropriate, notify you by email or on your request page. The version in force when you approve a quote applies to that quote unless a change is required by law.
