Quote anatomy
Every line, explained.
These are the lines a quote can contain. Not every request uses every line, and the quote you receive is specific to your item and destination.

What happens at the border.
The customs basis depends on the destination. The quote states how customs is handled—DDP, duty paid, or DAP—and what is collected on delivery.

DDP means delivered duty paid. DAP means delivered at place; duties and taxes are collected on delivery.
US and Canada: duties, taxes, and customs clearance are included in the shipping price under the forwarder's DDP service. No separate import tax is collected on delivery.
EU and UK: estimated VAT, IOSS, an estimated €3 duty, and €2 handling are added to your order total and paid with your order. They are separate from the shipping price. Customs may still adjust the final assessment.

What can move a quote
A quote is an estimate until it is final.
We confirm what we can before you approve. These are the variables that can change a number later—and what we do when they do.
Seller price or stock
A seller can change the price, run out, or substitute a variant. We tell you and revise the quote before you approve it.
Actual weight and dimensions
Carriers charge by actual or volumetric weight. We measure the packed parcel, and a carrier may re-weigh it.
Destination and service
Country, address type, transit speed, and carrier service all change the shipping price.
Item restrictions
Batteries, liquids, powders, magnets, branded goods, and oversize parcels may need a different channel or a surcharge.
Customs assessment
Customs can re-assess value, classification, or eligibility. That can change the final tax or duty outside the DDP scope.
Currency conversion
PayPal or your bank may apply a conversion rate. The charge currency and conversion are shown at checkout.
How the money moves
Nothing is charged before you approve.
A request and a quote are free. Payment starts only after you approve the itemized total.

Delivery
DDP destinations have no separate import tax on delivery. DAP destinations collect duties and taxes on delivery.
